Woe to the MC.

So, since I've gotten back into Star Ocean IV(And reached the apex of it's goodliness) I realized that the main characters in Star Ocean are shafted by someone a million times more badass about halfway through the game. Upon beating a certain fight, a character called Arumat joined my crew, and even though he's 2-3 levels lower than Edge, the main character, he does about twice as much damage, wields a giant beam-scythe, looks badass, and eats babies.

The same happened with Fayt in SO3.

The point is, Arumat eats babies, and even though I lost Faize for him, he is worth any trade.(Although Meracle could have left. Little pest. D:<;)

Everyone knows Master Chief didn't freeze himself at the end of Halo 3, he just made it look that way so he could do yard work without having to save the universe every hour.
